Ahmad Ghazi is a visiting researcher at the Sustainable Building Research Group focusing on life Cycle assessment and environmental impact of timber structures. He is a Ph.D. student in Seismic Structural Performance Control Lab at Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan. A student of WISE (World-leading Innovation & Smart Education) Program for Sustainability in the Dynamic Earth (SyDE). He is working with Miyagi Prefecture CLT Promotion Council on promoting CLT buildings in Japan. He is interested in disaster risk reduction (DRR) and in sustainable and disaster-resilient cities.
